My start. Welcome home.

I just recently joined this app just to share my thoughts on the ARG welcome home.

If you couldn’t tell by my profile picture, I think its great LOL. I have some theories as well as things I noticed that I would love to point out! So lets begin!

When you meet the neighbors, every single neighbor is spoken about in past tense, such as “was” or “did”, while Wally uses present tense, like “is”. I find it quite odd, though it’s not big surprise that Wally is the bad guy so it isn’t crazy news to hear past tense being used, as one can only guess what had happened to them.

I have a theory that Wally might be almost yandere-ish? I know it’s dumb, but many secrets that have been found are things like wally saying “Wally is your best friend”, and even in one instance where in the chatlog someone says, “I love you Wally” to which Wally replied, “Then why won’t you pick up the phone?” Which isn’t like crazy but it’s clear he has an attachment to whoever we are supposed to be in the story. I’m not saying its like a love yandere thing, i’m saying its more like an attached friendship that he refuses to let go.

Many speculate that Wally might be possessed by his house because of the weird eyes, but I think it’s different. I think that when he found out about his house, he started seeing it as a god, praising it and praying to it as seen in the hidden screen under his house. I think, if in the future Wally does (and he probably will) hurt his friends, he might do it because he thinks his house wants him to. It’s already canon that he talks to his house and assumes it’s replies, so it wouldn’t be so crazy.
