CaseyBlairParticipantIf you are diving deep into Aion 2, you already know that while Gear Score is what gets you through the door for certain high-level content, your Combat Power (CP) is what actually defines how hard you hit, how long you survive, and how well you perform when things get tough. Boosting your CP isn’t just about putting on the highest-level gear you find; it’s about understanding the game’s permanent progression systems and making smart decisions with your daily grind.
If you are looking to maximize your efficiency and get your CP as high as possible, here are the best areas to focus on right now.
Maximize the Daevanion Boards
If you want a massive injection of permanent stats that stay with your character regardless of what gear you have equipped, the Daevanion Board is your best friend. It provides some of the strongest passive CP boosts in the game.To get the most out of this system, you need to be hunting for hidden Sealed Dungeons. Keep a close eye on your map for random question marks; clearing these hidden spots rewards you with Devenian Crystals and points. Don’t stop at your own faction’s territory, either. Every four hours, space-time rifts open up allowing you to cross over into the opposing faction’s map. Take advantage of this to re-clear their Sealed Dungeons for double the points.
Additionally, make sure you complete all the green regional quest chains to scoop up extra upgrade materials. Whenever you visit the Shugo Shop, prioritize buying Devenian Crystals with your rewards. A good rule of thumb to remember is that roughly one crystal translates to one permanent point of Combat Power.
Follow an Efficient Gear Upgrade Strategy
It is incredibly easy to burn through your resources early on if you focus too much on a single piece of equipment. To keep your progression smooth, you need to be smart about how you enhance your gear. The most efficient strategy is to spread your upgrades evenly across all your items. For instance, getting every single slot to +1 is far cheaper and yields better total stat returns than dumping all your gold and stones trying to rush one piece straight to +5. The only real exception to this rule is your main weapon. If you are struggling with early-game damage checks, it is perfectly fine to prioritize your weapon a bit higher to boost your raw offensive output.
As you level up, never throw away or sell your old green and blue gear. Dissolve them to recover Enhancement Stones. In the early game, extracting gear gives you back 100% of the invested resources, so you don’t need to hold back or worry about wasting mats on temporary equipment.
Build Permanent Unique Accessories
Your Revelation Amulet and Noble Belt are permanent staples of your loadout that scale beautifully over time, providing critical stats like weapon damage, penetration, and defense. To upgrade your Amulet, you need to go feather hunting. There are 140 Monolith Feathers scattered across the main cities and starting regions. Take the time to scour these areas, collect them all, and hand them over to the Monolith to secure Amulet Enhance Scrolls and extra skill points. For your Belt, you will need to clear world strongholds to farm Belt Enhanced Scrolls.
Once you have your starter items, use the Substance Morphing loop. Max out your baseline items to +10, unequip them, and use Substance Morphing to evolve them into the Rare variant. Repeat this exact upgrade and morph cycle over time until you eventually push them all the way up to Unique +10 powerhouses.
Optimize Skill Thresholds and Buff Slots
Your CP isn’t just about passive numbers; your active skills heavily influence your functional combat strength based on how you build them.Pay close attention to your standard active mastery skills and aim for specific milestones, namely Levels 8, 12, and 16. Hitting these precise thresholds unlocks powerful bonus effects and extra properties that drastically change how effective the skill is.
At the same time, keep progressing through your Donium table to unlock Blue Stone Buff Slots. These slots let you slot in custom modifiers to alter your skills, such as turning a single-target strike into a multi-hit attack, expanding your AoE radius, or boosting your mana recovery. Lastly, make sure you are spending your Abyss Points to buy Stigma Shards so you can awaken and empower your premium Stigma abilities.
Collect Titles and Pantheon Statues
Don’t overlook the secondary collection systems. While a single title or statue component might seem small, these stacking passive bonuses aggregate into hundreds of extra CP points over time. For titles, you can unlock them through standard questing and dungeon clears. The game allows you to benefit from three active titles simultaneously, so make sure you have one Offensive, one Defensive, and one Utility (“Other”) title equipped at all times to maximize your active passive buffs.
For the Pantheon, keep an eye out for statue scraps and framework blueprints during your adventures. Use these to erect Pantheon architecture. Even the lower-tier green and blue statue components are worth completing because they all provide minor, permanent stat increases that quietly build up your character’s baseline power.
