Friender.
Friender. kicked off this February as a project to keep alive the songs composed by the vocalist, Emman. Dissatisfied with the lack of success of their previous band, Emman decided to channel his efforts into a fresh start, recruiting some of Tagum's top musicians.
Brian, a talented drummer, and Jhon Ticmon, formerly of MILK Supplement, Kenny the bassist who's also playing with Gymboys and Dax In The Box, joined forces with them, and Friender was born.
The name Friender, a play on "Friendly," was Emman's brainchild, chosen to reflect the band's welcoming vibe. He envisioned a future where their fans would simply be known as "Friends." Emman's journey through various bands like Emancipate, Enoshi, and Native Town reflects his ongoing search for the perfect musical fit.
With Friender, he's determined to make use of his existing songs and ensure they don't go to waste.
Kenny, who hails from Gymboys & Dax In The Box, has been a fixture in bands since he started learning bass from few years ago and has been successful in expressing his own ideas and bass lines.
Jhon Ticmon's musical journey began in elementary school and continued through college, where he played in bands like Frozen Throne and later Milk Supplement.
Brian, primarily a church drummer, sought to expand his horizons, participating in bands like Circulo Singko, Emancipate, and Enoshi. Despite their diverse backgrounds, the members of Friender share a common goal: to create and perform original music that resonates with audiences.
Their collective experience and passion drive them to pursue this goal with determination and enthusiasm, aiming to win the hearts of listeners with every song they create.
