Inside the “Puso” is the Angel of Resurrection. The “Puso” will be opened by birds flying down from all corners of “Galilea”, revealing the Angel.

The Angel will then sing “Regina Coeli”, a musical antiphon addressed to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

I remember, a local once told me that the paper-maché birds that opened the “Puso”, are actually roosters, in reference to Saint Peter, to whom, Jesus gave the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
