Taking the title of “Kapitana” and/or “Tinyenta” in the town of Angono, Rizal, is like being the “Jefa de fiestas” — head of festivities — for one whole year.

Together with their associates — ” the Konsehalas”—, the Kapitana and the Tinyenta are to perform various ceremonial and functional duties in different occasions such as town festival, Marian feast days, Christmas celebration & ultimately, during lent.
